The A.E.D.[defibrillator] recently acquired by the Church will be wonderful addition in providing

emergency care anywhere in the building. It`s use complements those other aids listed below.

 

#1-A true emergency must be recognized quickly as opposed to a simple "faint".

 

#2-If an emergency exists, Ushers and others need to work quickly to:

                               

          Remove the person to the nearest open flat surface [aisle]

                           

         One person calls 911 [by cell]

                           

          Another starts C.P.R.

 

          Another acquires the A.E.D. & attaches it to the person

 

At this point, the person is stabilized until the A.E.D. decides if a shock is needed &if so will give it.
