An Opportunity to Explore the Meaning of Life

Alpha is returning to Kingsway-Lambton in September!
You've heard about this course, probably had friends who have attended, and may be wondering what it's all about.

Alpha is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life in a relaxed, friendly setting. The Alpha course meets once a week, and includes a delicious meal, an intriguing audio-visual talk, a small group discussion and a refreshing Saturday getaway that comes halfway through the course.

At each session, people enjoy great food, laughter and learning in a fun and friendly atmosphere where no question about life and God is seen as too simple or too hostile... questions like: Is there a God? Why am I here? Where am I going? Who is Jesus? Why did he die?

Alpha is presented in such a way as to be welcoming for newcomers, and helpful for long-time church-goers, to explore the Christian faith.

We've changed the night to Wednesday this year, in order to accommodate those for whom Mondays or Fridays were difficult.

Here Are The Details:

• Introductory Banquet and Information: Wednesday, September 14, 6:30 - 8:30, in the Auditorium
• Ten week course, including meals: Wednesdays from 6:30 - 9:00 p.m., starting September 21, ending on November 23
• Day Away: Saturday, October 22, at Crieff Hills Retreat and Conference Centre

Red Letter Christianity ~ a new fall study series for Alpha graduates

Concurrent to the Alpha program, we will be offering an exciting new 6 session study series entitled "Red Letter Christianity". The series will begin September 14th and run every second Wednesday to November 23rd. Dinner, with the Alpha participants, will be part of the program.

"Red Letter Christianity" examines the words of Jesus, and how we can apply them to our everyday living. Please contact Linda Locke to register.
