The Emergencies Team at Human Rights Watch is a small group of researchers who are specially trained and very experienced in working in conflict areas. This film shows how the E-Team risk their lives to expose the truth behind the horrific war crimes of Bashar al-Assad and Muammar Gaddafi among others, providing a voice to the helpless victims of global genocide. This documentary premiered in 2014 at The Sundance Film Festival where it won the Cinematography Award in its category, as well as, the Candescent Award, which recognizes the creation and completion of socially conscious documentary films.   Human Rights Watch Representative: Judy Collinson, Canadian HRW Co-chair of the Syrian Refugee Children’s Education Committee
