In February of this year, the Supreme Court ruled that physician-assisted dying is legal in the case of consenting adults who are suffering intolerably as a result of a grievous and irremediable medical condition. On the evening of Tuesday, June 9th, you are invited to participate in a workshop at Kingsway-Lambton U.C. led by Lenore McGuire, former Palliative Care Coordinator at St. Joseph’s Hospital and KLUC family member. The workshop will seek to provide both information about physician-assisted dying, including how it differs from euthanasia, and a forum for discussing and sharing thoughts and feelings about the Supreme Court’s decision including us as people of faith.
