For Youth in Grades 5-8

The Junior Youth will be gathering Friday, February 3rd at 7:00 pm in the Kingsway-Lambton Gymnasium for a special gaming event of our own called

“Pizza Party and Minute to Win it”

Please bring a donation of soap or toothpaste for the Honduras Mission.

Plans for 2011-2012
The Confirmation Group holds its meetings Sunday evenings at 5:00 pm in the West Reception Room. If you or someone you know is 15 years of age or older and would like to inquire about this program, please contact Rev. Maryann Skinner or Rev. Hugh Reid. New group members are always welcome!
The date for confirmation in 2012 is May 6th, 2012.
The Confirmation and Senior Youth retreat at Creiff Hills is planned for the week-end of April 20- 22nd, 2012.

Youth Worship Choir and Drum Ensemble – New members Welcome!
New choristers are welcome to join KLUC’s Worship Choir under the leadership of Young People’s Music Director Sharon Burlacoff. The group rehearses Thursdays from 4:40-5:40 pm in the West Reception Room and rehearsals will resume January 12th. Rehearsals incorporate vocal warm-ups, hand-drumming, body percussion, choreography and this energetic group explores Worship music from many cultures and countries, spirituals and even glee-style Christian music. Instruments such as drums, guitar and hand-bells are incorporated into singing. We are currently preparing music for a joint concert with KLUC’s Senior Choir on Sunday, February 12th and select Sunday services. Please contact Sharon via the Church office for further information. This one-day experience is an affordable conference that is able to bring together worldwide recognized speakers, many local youth ministry leaders, an interactive learning experience, a host of free resources and access to more of the newest supplies. This is more than just a conference, it is an annual experience that has been partnering with youth ministries across Ontario to see more youth effectively engaging and living out the message of Jesus.

The Today’s Teens Conference has been one of the leading youth ministry conferences for the past 28 years. As the times have changed, so has this one-day experience. Again this year, there are specifically designed programs for youth workers and students while providing an additional special parents' night on the Friday. It is amazing to think that in one weekend there can be one conference that caters to so many needs. Why give up an extra weekend, when you can get everyone equipped together in one place? We want to work with you this year to be able to make it a whole weekend experience for your individual and group ministries. At Kingsway-Lambton these ministries are yours to own and to feed. If you are interested in being fed by this amazing conference please contact Rev. Maryann Skinner or Steve Prime Our plan is to have a group from our church attend this function.
