This week's speaker - Rev. Jennifer Henry

Rev. Jennifer Henry is the Executive Minister for Organizational Development and Strategy at the General Council Office of The United Church of Canada. Ordained in the United Church in 2023, she worked for close to 3 decades in ecumenical social justice advocacy before coming to serve in the denomination in 2021.

Rev. Henry will be speaking to us about Belonging based on the recent United Church's General Council initiative : "A Place at the Table"

Rev. Gibson will lead a study that will look at how Psalms can be used for study, prayer and reflection.

Our fall Congregational Meeting will take place on
Sunday, October 26, following the 10 am service. 

During this meeting the Search Team will present for consideration and approval a recommendation for our next Lead Minister.

Other items for consideration will be the election of two new candidates to join our Church Council, and the election of one new candidate to the Board of Trustees.

· Please separate clothing from housewares when donating.
· Please label your donations (toys, hardware, jewelry).
· Small furniture (must fit in a car).
· No textbooks please!
· Salable items only (would YOU buy it?).

Donations can be dropped at the bottom of the stairs inside the glass doors. The doors will be open during stated drop-off times, but in case they are locked please use the call buzzer to be let in.
