The goal of this online KLUC Bible study is to use the six weeks of Lent to deepen our relationship with Jesus Christ and to strengthen our faith. We will consider what the Old Testament says about him by way of prophecy and various ‘types’ or patterns that anticipate New Testament events. We will discover wonderful connections and surprising unity between the two Testaments. Our faith and imagination will be stimulated to find similar patterns and Christ in our own world, and in hymns, movies, and art.

No prior knowledge of the Bible is required. Participants will be asked to read one typed page of Bible quotations before each week. The format is invitational and conversational, not lecture, led by the Rev. Dr. Paul Wilson, Professor Emeritus of Preaching, Emmanuel College, University of Toronto.

This six-week series runs from February 23 to March 30, 2026. Identical one-hour online sessions are each Monday, at 9:15 a.m. or 6:45 p.m. Please choose one (although you may move freely between them). Register and receive the readings and Zoom links from the Church Office: office@kingswaylambton.ca or phone: 416-234-8224, ext. 111.
