Kingsway-Lambton provides sensitive, thoughtful, up-to-date, personal pastoral care to all members of our faith community and their extended families.

Our clergy staff have training and experience in pastoral care and offer their expertise in a variety of caring groups, through visitation and appropriate helpful and healing liturgies. Working in tandem with the clergy is an experienced Pastoral Care Team. They seek to be instrumental in assisting families or individuals who are making difficult decisions, facing accidental or developmental crises, or struggling with overwhelming problems. They serve as stewards of ideas and possibilities, desiring to nurture the often tender and hesitant growth of individuals and families.

The Scriptures are full of many examples, illustrations and teachings that offer help, guidance, comfort and care to those in need.

Desirous of being faithful to our biblical roots as well as giving wings to the best of modern day knowledge in health related fields, we strive to assist the needy physically, psychologically and spiritually.

In the New Testament, Jesus told a story of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37). The lawyer in the story asked Jesus, "Who is my neighbour?" The answer distinctly given was: anyone in need. From its beginning, people in the church were appointed to fulfill tasks of caring and helpfulness. They sought opportunities "to bear one another's burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ."(Galatians 6:2) and the strong are "to help the weak." (Romans 15:1). We believe that the Church, at its best and finest, frees people to know and use their God given potential, intelligence and inner resources.

When people are liberated to become what they are capable of being and discovering the fullest expression of their uniqueness, then we have served well.
