The Warmth Initiative is back!

Donations accepted Nov 22 - Dec 10, Mon-Fri, 9 am - 9 pm

During the pandemic, the number of people facing homelessness and poverty in Toronto increased sharply. Despite efforts by the city and social agencies over the past 18 months, there are still almost 9,000 people who don’t have a place to sleep every night in our city.

As the winter descends, there is a huge need for warm clothing. Homelessness agencies are looking for donations of warm, gently used & clean coats, hats, mittens/gloves, scarves, sweaters and pants (and NEW thermal socks and thermal underwear).  Hygiene items like toothpaste, shampoo, lotion, body wash, and bar soap will also be gratefully received.

The Warmth Initiative bin will be outside the KLUC glass door Monday to Friday from 9 am - 9 pm from Nov. 22 to Dec. 10.  If you’d like to help out with sorting or delivery please email judy.collinson@rogers.com

Please donate generously! THANK YOU!
