Hello Kingsway-Lambton Friends,

Last Sunday, Reverend Don Gibson spoke from John 12: 1-8, where Mary anoints Jesus’ feet and wipes them dry with her hair.  Mary’s act was both generous and surprising. Reverend Don spoke wisely and inspirationally of this passage.  But as I walked home, my takeaway was “Let your hair down and do something unexpected.”

Now as you can tell, I am not a theologian, but I liked this thought.  If you have contributed to our Easter drive in the past, your generosity is so appreciated, and I hope you will continue to support us.  If you have not contributed in the past, do the UNEXPECTED!  You will be amazed at the good you will be doing.

Our seven Community Outreach agencies* will in turn, do the unexpected.  They will face down hunger, homelessness, addiction, the need for senior and youth support.   And they will meet these challenges with generosity, dignity, and the unexpected opportunity for a better day.

This is our Easter Outreach campaign.  Let your hair down, do the unexpected, and surprise yourself at the good you will be doing.  Please donate!

Unexpectedly yours,
Sandra
