Reflection: Each generation brings its own energy, questions, and ways of seeing the world - often leaving the rest of us saying, “kids these days…” or “back in my day…”. But what if, instead of frustration, we approached younger generations with curiosity and openness? Join Alana this Sunday as she shares emerging research on today’s children and youth, and invites us to reflect on what we might learn from them. Grounded in Mark 10:13-16 - where the disciples try to turn children away and Jesus responds with indignation - we’ll explore how Jesus calls us to do better. Together, we’ll consider how we can live into that call: becoming communities that truly welcome younger generations, and that begins with understanding them - and learning to see the best in them.
