Scripture Reading: Matthew 17:1-9 - The Transfiguration
At the Transfiguration, Jesus' glory is revealed on a mountain, recalling the cloud of God's glory on the mountain when Moses met with God in the wilderness. Moses and Elijah meet Jesus on the mountain, reminding us that Jesus continues the story of the law given through Moses and the prophets including Elijah. How are we transformed by encounter with the glory of Jesus?
