Guest Speaker Schedule:

For April 26 - Rev. Michael Shewberg

Based on selected readings from Isaiah 40:26–31; Hosea 8:1; Deuteronomy 28:26; Matthew 24:28; Genesis 15:11; Proverbs 30:17)

Reflection: This week’s reflection, “Watch the Sky,” invites us to slow down and pay attention to what is really happening around us—and within us. Drawing on Jesus’ words and the imagery of birds in Scripture, we explore how the signs of endings and new life often appear side by side. With honesty and hope, we consider what it means to name what is no longer life-giving, while trusting that God is still at work, offering strength, renewal, and the possibility of rising again.

Upcoming Speakers
May 3 - Rev. Bri-Anne Swan
May 10 - Rev. Mitchell Anderson
May 17 - Rev. Dr. Trevor Brisbin
May 24 - Rev. Michael Shewburg

In addition to its regular services, Fresh Start actively engages with social justice issues. We've hosted impactful events on topics such as Anti-Racism and Truth & Reconciliation, sparking powerful conversations and leading to meaningful, actionable change.
