On Wed. March 29, the North Toronto Cluster of United Churches is hosting a panel discussion on the causes of homelessness. It will be a hybrid event at 7 pm - in-person at Rosedale United Church (159 Roxborough Dr., Toronto, M4W 1X7) and online via Zoom.
Guests will be Angela Robertson, Executive Director of Parkdale Queen West Community Health Centre, and Lorraine Lam, a community organizer working with the unhoused in Toronto. Stephen Milton will moderate the discussion and the Q&A.
It's important to hear how and why people become unhoused, so we can assess whether the proposed provincial approach is likely to help, or not.
