With gratitude to God and deep joy, we announce that The Reverend Christopher Fraser, B.A., M.Div., has been called to serve as Lead Minister of Kingsway-Lambton United Church, effective March 1, 2026. The motion to extend this call was approved unanimously at the congregational meeting on Sunday.
Rev. Fraser brings a thoughtful and grounded approach to ministry rooted in faith, compassion, and community. He earned his Master of Divinity from Emmanuel College at the University of Toronto and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from McMaster University. Over the years, he has served in diverse pastoral settings within the United Church of Canada, including Hope United and most recent Parkdale United, and is known for his warm preaching, attentive pastoral care, and ability to guide congregations in spiritual and practical renewal.
Rev. Chris lives in Bloor West with his wife, Prentice, and their beloved dog, Skye. Together they enjoy the vitality of city life, walks along the Humber, horseback riding and connecting with their local community.
We thank God for guiding our Search Committee and congregation through this process of discernment and for leading us to Rev. Fraser. We look forward with hope and anticipation to this new chapter in our shared ministry.
Please join us in praying for Chris as he prepares to begin his ministry among us, and for our community as we continue to grow together in faith, service, and love.
In faith and gratitude,
The Pastoral Search Committee
Kingsway-Lambton United Church
Rev. Chris sent this message in response to our Call:
Thank you for the care that has guided the Search Committee and the Congregation throughout the search process. I’m humbled by the trust Kingsway-Lambton has placed in me, and I hold this with gratitude and reverence.
It’s a gift to be welcomed into a community with such depth of faith and commitment. I look forward to walking with you—listening, learning, and serving together—as we continue to follow where Christ leads.
Prentice and I are touched by the kindness and warmth we’ve already received, and we look forward to the season ahead with hope and joy.
Grace and peace,
Rev. Chris
